In this classic MASTERS from 2007, Winn Claybaugh interviews Leonard Engelman, whose successful career as a makeup artist spanned over 50 years. Leonard was the youngest makeup artist ever nominated for an Emmy, and his film credits include Alfred Hitchcock’s Topaz, Rocky, Ghostbusters, and many more. He worked with stars like Julie Andrews, Kevin Kline, Glenn Close, Michelle Pfeiffer, Danny Glover, Sigourney Weaver, Farrah Fawcett, and Sylvester Stallone, to name just a few. When Cher received her Academy Award for Moonstruck, she thanked her makeup artist, Leonard Engelman.
